It's amazing what some cleanup can do to a property. We have completed the exterior repairs and upgrades to our Dorothy Street project and the results are eye catching.
Taking a page from the Nashville, TN ranch remodeling playbook, we decided to make the street view "pop" by painting the front exterior brick and going with a black trim on white color scheme.
To add an extra special touch as a focal point, we replaced the dated wrought-iron front porch post with a quality 6x6 White Eastern Pine column from Estemerwalt Lumber Products in Honesdale. We applied two coats of weatherproof stain to give it a quality finish and trimmed it out with special order decorative hardware.
